Stage 1 – Foundation Day

The first stage is our 1-day foundation botox and dermal fillers course. Completing this course will equip you with the knowledge and skill to carry out the most commonly requested facial aesthetic injectable treatments. Online reading materials will be provided in advance of the course so that on the day, this will simply be re-enforced, enabling us to focus more on the practical hands-on training.

Your comprehensive hands-on training will be supervised by highly-skilled and experienced aesthetic trainers in small groups to maximize retention of knowledge. Plenty of time is allocated to this part of the day, so that you are confident to practice independently afterwards.

Live model hands-on Botulinum Toxin training to:

– Frown Lines
– Forehead Lines
– Crows Feet

Live model hands-on Dermal Filler training to:

– Lip Fillers (enhancement & shaping)
– Nasolabial Folds
– Marionette Lines

Stage 2 – Supervised Treatment Days

This forms the second part of Derma Medical’s accredited cosmetic training pathway in the delivery of nonsurgical cosmetic injectable treatments. Stage 2 candidates will need to complete five supervised treatment days to build up the required portfolio and to ensure a level of proficiency in the delivery of cosmetic injectables is achieved. This is a central stage in-line with Health Education England guidelines.

Delegates will complete a portfolio whereby they will observe and administer 10 Botulinum Toxin and 10 Dermal Fillers treatments under the supervision of our Level 7 trainers.

Stage 3 – Assessments

Candidates will be examined on theoretical and practical content to gain the Level 7 qualification in Injectables in Aesthetic Medicine.

34 short answer questions (SAQ’s) of between 100-800 words covering the core topics outlined in the HEE syllabus and Manual will need to be answered.

Completion of 8 Objective Structured Clinical Examination’s (OSCE) during an assessment day, which will examine every aspect from consultation to aftercare.

A review of portfolio’s will take place including completed logbook, supervisor sign off along with completion of all written and practical assessments enables progress to certification.

Level 7 Certificate in Aesthetic Injectables

On successful completion of training, our delegates will receive accredited level 7 qualification in aesthetic injectables which is regulated by the government’s office of qualifications OFQUAL.

The total price of this package includes a £60 registration fee and £200 moderation fee charged by Ofqual per enrolled delegate. Any resits will incur additional resit fees as detailed here.
