Dr. Susan Amaturo
Dr. Susan Amaturo is a board certified dermatologist, and has been practicing dermatology for 25 years. She was born in Sacramento, CA and has resided in Sonoma County for over 15 years. She obtained her B.A. degree in economics from Stanford University and her medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco. After her internship in internal medicine at the University of Chicago School of Medicine, she completed her dermatology residency at the University of California Irvine. She sees patients in the Santa Rosa and Healdsburg locations, and performs Mohs surgery, surgical and cosmetic procedures.

Dr. Van Vreede grew up in Traverse City, a small town in Northern Michigan. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and medical school at Wayne State University in Detroit. He then completed a Dermatology residency at Wayne State University School of Medicine, where he was Chief Resident (a position given to the top resident in the program). Dr. Van Vreede ranked in the 100th percentile in the nation on dermatology training exams while a resident. He also published several peer reviewed articles in highly accredited journals. He strives to use his education to provide the most complete and up to date treatment for his patients, always making recommendations with the patients’ best interests in mind.
Dr. Melissa Carroll
Dr Melissa Carroll is a general Dermatologist and a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. She is a graduate from The University of Queensland with degrees in Arts, Law and Medicine (2007).
Completing her advanced training in Brisbane, Dr Carroll has worked at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital, Queensland Institute of Dermatology and Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital. She also has rural clinical experience, attending dermatology clinics in Gladstone.
Dr Carroll’s subspecialty interests include skin cancer screening and management, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, acne and general dermatology.
